Attendance Policy

 

  ARROWHEAD’S 24-HOUR ATTENDANCE HOTLINE:  913-993-1788

 

The following information MUST be included when absences are called to the hotline:

• The caller’s name (parent/legal guardian).
• The name of the student (please spell the last name)'
• The reason for the absence and symptoms if ill.
•  A telephone number where the caller can be reached during the day.

 

PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN CALLS

Please contact the attendance line to notify the reason for your student’s absence. All absences will be marked unexcused unless notification is received from the parent/guardian.

 

LEAVING DURING THE SCHOOL DAY

A guardian must call the attendance hotline to notify office staff of any student leaving early or a change in dismissal. Call 913-993-1788. Leave a message; these lines are checked constantly. A guardian should allow a minimum for 30 minutes to process requests.

A written request from the parent/guardian for a student to leave campus during the school day will be honored when the note is presented to the office staff upon morning arrival. A parent/guardian must report to the Office and sign the student out before leaving and/or returning to campus.
